Services

Six areas of studio operations, from equipment records to newsroom workflow. Each can be used alone or alongside the others, depending on how your productions run.

What we offer

Six ways we support studio teams

  • Equipment Management

Cameras, lenses, monitors and cabling are recorded with location, condition and maintenance history. Booking calendars show which items are free, reserved or out for repair.

  • Camera Movement Planning

Camera moves for pedestal, jib and rail are planned for each show and written as shot lists. Directors, operators and floor managers use the same plan during rehearsal and on air.

  • Lighting Design Support

Lighting plots and presets are drawn up for sets, newsdesks and entertainment stages. They are stored so the same look can be rebuilt consistently from one show to the next.

  • Sound Management

Microphone lists, mixing desk settings and talkback routing are documented for each production. Audio crews set up faster and can repeat a result when a show returns.

  • Production Coordination

Running orders, call sheets and cue notes are shared across gallery, floor and presenters. Updates made during a show are visible to everyone who needs them.

  • Newsroom Workflow Setup

Story planning is connected with studio booking, so bulletins move from the newsroom to the floor on one schedule. Editors and studio managers stop working from separate lists.

Choosing a starting point

Equipment Management or Production Coordination first

Many clients ask which service to begin with. The answer depends on whether your biggest daily difficulty is kit or communication, and the two approaches below show how they differ.

Equipment Management

Main focus
Knowing what kit you own, where it is and whether it is fit for use.
Typical users
Studio managers, engineers and technical stores staff.
What gets recorded
Items, locations, maintenance logs and booking calendars.
When it helps most
When kit goes missing, is double booked or fails unexpectedly.
Setup effort
An initial inventory of cameras, lenses, monitors and cabling.

Production Coordination

Main focus
Keeping gallery, floor and presenters working from the same running order.
Typical users
Producers, directors, floor managers and coordinators.
What gets recorded
Running orders, call sheets, cue notes and live changes.
When it helps most
When late changes are lost between gallery and studio floor.
Setup effort
Agreeing templates for running orders and call sheets with each team.

Most studios end up using both. Tell us where the daily friction is greatest, and we can suggest which one to set up first.

Scope and proposals

What a proposal covers and what shapes it

Every engagement begins with a written proposal after we have talked through your studios and shows. It states what we will set up, what you need to provide and how the work is paid for. Here is how those pieces fit together.

What is included

A proposal names the services you have chosen and the studios they apply to. It covers the initial setup of records and templates, role-based guidance for your crews and support while your first shows run through the platform. We describe each deliverable in plain terms, so you know what you will receive. Anything outside that list is stated separately, not assumed. If a service needs on-site time at your studio, the proposal says so and explains why.

What changes the scope

The number of studios, the size of the equipment inventory and the number of regular programmes all affect the work involved. A newsroom running several bulletins a day needs different templates from a studio producing one weekly entertainment show. The mix of services also matters, since linking equipment, lighting and coordination takes more planning than using one alone. We ask about these points early so the proposal reflects your real situation.

What we need from you

Setup goes faster when we can see a current equipment list, a typical running order and a recent call sheet. Even partial or untidy versions help us understand your habits. It also helps to name one person on your side who can answer questions about bookings and show formats. We do not need everything on day one, and gaps can be filled while we work together. Prices and payment steps are set out on the prices page.
